BASW recently attended the International Federation of Social Workers (IFSW) Global Delegates Meeting and Conference in Panama, where BASW CEO Dr Ruth Allen was also announced as the new IFSW Europe President.

The ‘Safety of Rwanda Bill’ has passed the Houses of Parliament stages and will go forward to receive Royal Assent.

BASW was proud to once again host and join World Social Work Day celebrations throughout March.

We are delighted to share that BASW CEO, Dr Ruth Allen has been announced as the new Regional President of the International Federation of Social Work (IFSW) Europe.
