What this session will cover:
Central to social work values are human interaction, dignity, compassion, advocacy and standing up for the rights of those marginalised in society.
As the wave of artificial intelligence permeates many parts of our lives, what is the role of social work in this space? How is AI being used in our profession and who are the winners and losers?
This session will illustrate some of the ways the profession is using AI, how this is influencing practice, and why its vitally important we lead the conversation on how AI is used.
In supporting networking and practitioner wellbeing this is an online event open to students, social workers, BASW members and non-members studying, living, or working in the West Yorkshire area.
