About this event
This session is hosted by the BASW England Children and Families Group.
In this interactive webinar, Dr Nikki Rutter (Durham University) will unpack key ideas about how knowledge is built and used in social work. We will explore different ways of understanding evidence, challenge traditional hierarchies, and think critically about how social workers and commissioners can make best use of research and other sources of knowledge.
Participants will also have the chance to join small-group discussions, share perspectives, and connect with others interested in using research and finding relevant knowledge for practice.
