Let's Celebrate Amazing Social Work across the UK!
Amazing Social Workers returns for its sixth year! The campaign is your opportunity to give a colleague a shout-out and help BASW to shine a spotlight on examples of exceptional social work practice happening across the country.
By taking part, you’ll not only get the chance to say thank you to a colleague, but also help us to raise the public profile of the social work profession and champion the work of social workers everywhere.
Inspiring and creative social work practice is taking place everyday, making a positive difference to the lives of children, adults, families, and our communities as a whole. So let's not be shy in recognising it and celebrating the individuals and teams making it happen.
How to get involved
Nominations are open until 23.59 on Tuesday, 2 December. We’re looking to highlight the work of everyone involved in the social work profession, including:
- Social Workers
- Managers
- Leaders
- Independents
- Teams
- Students
- NQSWs
- Practice Educators
- Anyone else you can think of!
The nomination form is quick and easy to complete. We’re only looking for a maximum of 200 words. You don't need to be a BASW member to take part either!
After nominations close, we’ll contact all our nominees to make sure they’re happy for us to share their achievements on our social media channels and website throughout March 2026 as part of our World Social Work Day celebrations.
All data collected by BASW for the purpose of this campaign will be stored and managed in line with our Privacy Policy.
