Qualifying as a Social Worker in 2012 my career has been focussed on working in Local Authorities holding several statutory roles in Child Protection and Court Proceedings Teams. I am experienced working with families who have complex issues including substance misuse, additional mental health needs and those who are victims or perpetrators of domestic abuse. I can build positive relationships and am skilled at engaging parents to discuss their issues; consider the impact these have on the capacity to parent. I take pride in my assessments which are evidenced based, balanced and analytical ensuring are produced within the required timescales.
