Adroddiad PSW Mawrth 2013

O’r diwedd mae’r Gwanwyn wedi cyrraedd. Erbyn i chi ddarllen hwn, bydd grŵp o swyddogion newydd ar y pwyllgor. Ymwelwch â’n  gwefan i weld y manylion am y newidiadau yn y swyddogion.

Mae’r holl amrediad o faterion yng Nghymru yn cynyddu ymhellach trwy ein dylanwad ar Fesur Gwasanaethau Cymdeithasol a Llesiant (Cymru). Sefydlwyd Grŵp Ymgynghori i roi cyngor i Aelodau’r Cynulliad (AC) wrth i’r Mesur gwneud y daith i fod yn ddeddfwriaeth. Fel llawer o bethau, ceir llawer o fwriadau da, ond yn y manylder ceir y trafferthion - yn yr achos hwn, y cyfarwyddyd a fydd yn bodoli i gefnogi’r ddeddfwriaeth. Mae’r Grŵp Ymgynghori yn cynnwys 17 o fudiadau o bob rhan o Gymru. Mae'n cynnwys mudiadau i blant ac oedolion yn y sector wirfoddol ac annibynnol.

Gweithgareddau’r Pwyllgor

Gwobrwyon -  Fel y soniwyd y  mis diwethaf, cafodd y ffurflenni enwebu Cymraeg a Saesneg eu cwblhau. Gofynnwn i chi hysbysebu'r rhain yn eich gweithle a gyda’ch timoedd. Dyma ddull cadarnhaol i hybu gwaith ac ymarferiad cymdeithasol yn eich ardal. Gall unrhyw un sydd eisiau gwneud enwebiad lawr lwytho’r ffurflenni angenrheidiol o’r wefan ac anfon y ffurflen orffenedig at wales@basw.co.uk. Cofiwch fod y gwobrwyon hyn yn agored i bob gweithiwr cymdeithasol - naill ai yn aelodau o BASW neu beidio.

Cynhadledd -  Mae’r trefniadau ar gyfer ein Cynhadledd Genedlaethol ar ‘Gwneud yn Ddiogel’ yng Nghanolfan Catrin Finch, Prifysgol Glyndŵr, Wrecsam  wedi cael eu cwblhau erbyn hyn. Mae’r manylion i’w gweld ar dudalen “Digwyddiadau” gwefan BASW Cymru/Wales yn ogystal ag yn PSW. Gwnewch yn siŵr o’ch lle rhag i chi cael eich siomi oherwydd mae ceisiadau yn cyrraedd yn barod.

Aelodaeth -  Mae’r nifer o aelodau yn parhau i gynyddu ac ar hyn o bryd mae gennym 965. Rydym yn disgwyl cyrraedd 1,000 yn fuan iawn. Bydd y milfed aelod yn cael sylw arbennig ac yn derbyn aelodaeth yn rhad ac am ddim am flwyddyn fel rhan o’r dathlu. Soniwch wrth eich cydweithwyr am yr amrediad eang o fuddiannau sydd ar gael trwy ymuno a’r unig gymdeithas broffesiynol ar gyfer gwaith cymdeithasol yng Nghymru. Cofiwch hefyd, fel aelod, cewch y dewis i ymuno ag Undeb y Gweithwyr Cymdeithasol (UGC) heb unrhyw gost ychwanegol. Mae hyn yn rhoi diogelwch ychwanegol gan undeb llafur sydd yn gwybod ac yn dealt y materion penodol sy’n berthnasol i waith cymdeithasol. Felly peidiwch â cholli’r cyfle i elwa o’r budd hwn sydd ar gael yn rhad ac am ddim. Os ydych eisoes yn aelod a heb fanteisio ar y dewis hwn hyd yn hyn, cewch wneud hyn ar-lein neu drwy anfon neges e-bost: wales@basw.co.uk.

Goruchwyliaeth - Mae’r adolygiad goruchwylio ar gael erbyn hyn, i’w gwblhau. Anfonwyd hwn i aelodau Cymru trwy e-fwletin. Os nad ydych wedi ei dderbyn neu wedi anghofio gadael i’r adran aelodaeth wybod am eich cyfeiriad e-bost presennol neu unrhyw newid iddo, anfonwch neges e-bost atom os gwelwch yn dda. Mae hyn yn wirioneddol bwysig er mwyn i ni gael y nifer fwyaf posibl i ymateb i’r arolwg oherwydd fydd hyn yn rhoi tystiolaeth glir o ymarferiad o reolaeth dda (ac nid mor dda!). Caiff y canlyniadau eu rhannu, yn ddienw, gyda rhandeiliaid allweddol ar draws Cymru - yn cynnwys Cyngor Gofal Cymru, Arolygiaeth Gofal a Gwasanaethau Cymdeithasol Cymru, Cymdeithas Cyfarwyddwyr Gwasanaethau Cymdeithasol Cymru - mewn ymdrech i wella’r gefnogaeth a roddir i weithwyr cymdeithasol. Rydym yn ymwybodol bod gan y BBC diddordeb mawr yn y maes yma hefyd.

Fe gynigir pum gwobr i’r rhai ohonoch sy’n barod i adael eu manylion gyda ni ar ddiwedd yr arolwg, fel a ganlyn:

Y wobr gyntaf - aelodaeth o BASW am  flwyddyn , yn rhad ac am ddim

Yr ail wobr - tanysgrifiad rhad ac am ddim am flwyddyn i ‘British Journal of Social Work’ (werth oddeutu £43)

Y trydydd, pedwaredd a’r pumed wobr - tocyn yn rhad ac am ddim i’n Cynhadledd ar 'Gwneud yn Ddiogel’ yn Wrecsam ar 12 Mehefin.

Mesur Gwasanaethau Cymdeithasol a Llesiant (Cymru) - Mae’r Grŵp Ymgynghori yn parhau gyda’r gwaith ar y Mesur ac yn cyfarfod bron yn wythnosol. Yn ogystal â chynghori A’auC ar faterion wrth i’r Mesur fynd trwy’r pwyllgorau, byddwn yn gofyn am eglurdeb ar nifer o faterion sy’n effeithio ar waith cymdeithasol.

Yn ychwanegol i’r Grŵp Ymgynghori, gofynnwyd i BASW Cymru roi tystiolaeth ar lafar gerbron y Pwyllgor Iechyd a Gofal Cymdeithasol ar 2 Mai. Os oes gennych unrhyw sylwadau neu bryderon, gadewch i mi wybod ar fy nghyfeiriad e-bost isod os gwelwch yn dda.

Ac yn olaf …

Y mis diwethaf, gofynnwyd i weithwyr cymdeithasol cysylltu â BASW Cymru os oedd ganddynt unrhyw bryderon ar sut y disgwylir iddynt gyfarfod a gofynion Cod Ymarfer Gweithwyr Gofal Cymdeithasol. Cysylltwyd â ni ar nifer o faterion unigol sydd yn cael eu cefnogi trwy Undeb y Gweithwyr Cymdeithasol. Yn ogystal â rhain, cawsom wybod am rai tueddiadau sy’n achosi pryderon i Swyddogion Adolygu Annibynnol (SAA) gan achosi i rai ohonynt fod mewn sefyllfaoedd arbennig o anodd ac mae’n ymddangos hefyd bod plant, pobl ifanc a’u teuluoedd yn cael eu rhoi mewn sefyllfaoedd bregus hefyd. Os ydych yn SAA ac yn dymuno gwneud sylw (yn gyfrinachol) ar sut mae ymarfer rheoli da neu ddrwg yn effeithio ar eich rôl - peidiwch ag oedi rhag cysylltu â ni os gwelwch yn dda.
