The UK Government has announced the introduction of the Care Workforce Pathway, a national career structure for the adult social care workforce.

Having previously supported Shout Out UK’s delivery of political literacy workshops, SWU supports their aim for greater integration of Political Literacy education in England’s national curriculum.

The Government must engage in a full stakeholder consultation and an equality and impact assessment on all the routes into social work.
