Families First Partnership programme - what could it mean for your practice?
In March the DfE published the Families First Partnership programme guide. This non mandatory guide outlines the expectations in reforms of Family Help and multi-agency child protection and promotes greater use of Family Group Decision Making.
The guide is for everyone who works with children, young people and their families including strategic leaders, senior and middle managers, and those in direct practice and will shape how early help services and child protection teams are structured and delivered in the future.
If you work in one of the pathfinder areas we would like to hear your views and learn about your experiences. If you are unfamiliar with the guidance and want to learn more, or have read the guidance and want to share your thoughts and ideas then we are eager to hear your thoughts too.
