BASW is calling for “a review of barriers for care workers” to tackle the UK’s social care churn and vacancy rate, following a warning to government from the Migration Advisory Committee (MAC).
BASW England echoes the Children’s Commissioner’s pledge for a significant investment in children’s services, which is critical at a time when the coronavirus is deemed the greatest threat to children since World War II.
