Jointly delivered by BASW, the social workers professional body, and SWU the only trade union exclusively for social workers, the A&R team supports members through a myriad of employment and regulatory processes.

You will also be keen to deliver effective advice and representation on employment and independent social work-related matters for all BASW and SWU members.

- Are you an experienced Social Worker?
- Do you have considerable experience of work as an independent or agency social worker
- Can you bring a new perspective, and shake us from our comfort zone?
- Can you use your social work skills and knowledge by helping other social workers to navigate through complex employment processes?
- Do you share our passion for fairness and our commitment to tackling discrimination?
- Do you have the ability to seek solutions to multi-layered, varied and interesting issues?
- Do you want to work flexibly and autonomously yet closely with colleagues as part of a disparate and inclusive team?
Working across the UK we will need you to be able to travel particularly to London and the South East and sometimes further afield.
